Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

The 黑料正能量 DEI Committee Mission, Vision, and Value Statements

Mission

The 黑料正能量 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee exists to advocate for systemic change, amplify underrepresented voices, and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the College. We serve by increasing understanding and fostering open conversations about DEI, ensuring this work translates into meaningful action and representation within 黑料正能量鈥檚 leadership and governance. Our primary focus is on supporting the 黑料正能量 community, with the goal of creating a more inclusive and equitable community that empowers all to thrive.

Vision

To embed diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within our organizational culture, empowering all individuals in the 黑料正能量 community and beyond to reach their full potential and feel a true sense of belonging.

Values

The 黑料正能量 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is guided by four core values that reflect our dedication to creating a more inclusive and equitable profession:

  • Integrity: We uphold honesty and transparency in all our actions with respect, empathy, professionalism and collaboration.
  • Mutuality: We foster a culture of open communication, bravery, allyship, and kindness.
  • Initiative: We drive change through proactively identifying and addressing barriers to equity and inclusion.
  • Accountability: We hold ourselves and the organization responsible for measurable and meaningful progress.
The DEI Blueprint

After conducting an assessment of the 黑料正能量 in relation to DEI, a task force comprised of 黑料正能量 Diplomates and staff worked together to create a three-year strategic plan around our DEI initiatives.
